Continuation of the High Representative’s Tour in North Africa

Following his missions to Egypt and Tunisia in January, the High Representative of the Coalition for the Sahel, H.E. Mr. Hamadi Meimou, continued his North African tour with a visit to Morocco.

On March 29, at his invitation, he met with H.E. Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates. The discussion focused on the challenges faced by Sahelian countries and their African and international partners. It highlighted the importance of dialogue between African states and organizations in addressing the challenges in the Sahel. Morocco, a central partner of the Coalition for the Sahel, reaffirmed its commitment to the Sahelian and West African regions and expressed its desire to contribute to the stabilization and prosperity of this region.
