Participation of the High Representative in the OECD Strategy and Policy Group (SPG) of the Sahel and West Africa Club

The High Representative of the Coalition for the Sahel, H.E. Mr. Hamadi Meimou, went to Paris on June 4 to attend the OECD meeting of the Strategy and Policy Group (SPG) of the Sahel and West Africa Club, which serves as the “knowledge pillar” of the Coalition for the Sahel.

He co-chaired the panel “Insecurity and Territorial Fragmentation” alongside H.E. Ms. Martha Pobee, United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Africa, and H.E. Ms. Emanuela Del Re, the European Union Special Representative for the Sahel.

 

He also held discussions with the President of the CSAO, H.E. Ms. Hadizatou Rosine Sori-Coulibaly, regarding prospects for joint work.
