October 2021 Regional Tour – Burkina Faso, Niger and Mauritania

The High Representative of the Coalition for the Sahel, Dr. Djimé Adoum, conducted a regional tour of the Sahel in October 2021. On this occasion, he was received by authorities in Burkina Faso, Niger and Mauritania. 

 

These high-level interviews provided an opportunity to analyze the political situation in the region. The High Representative was able to take advantage of these meetings to follow up on the implementation of the Roadmap.

 

While in Nouakchott, the High Representative participated in a Contact Group (senior officials meeting) of the Sahel Coalition.

 

These trips were made during joint missions with the services of the European Union and the Sahel Alliance.
